BianoScience is a spin-of from the Friedrich-Schiller-University of Jena providing the thechnology of cell specific "Intelligent siRNA" for research applications. “Intelligent siRNA" are modified siRNA molecules that induce RNA interference specifically in the respective target cells based on a novel prodrug strategy.

BianoScience offers kits to modify conventional siRNA in order to make it specific for several tumor cell types as well as virus infected cells.

BianoScience acts in strong cooperation with the GO-Bio research group "Intelligent siRNA for therapeutic Applications" developing Intelligent siRNA to treat mammary cancer.
